A research and development-oriented consultant team focused on powers understanding and technological advancement. They investigate locations and retrieve artifacts of a mystical, paranormal, or alien nature that fall outside the explanation of science, increase the understanding of the multiverse, or may prove dangerous to the general populace. They work with each of the X-teams, interlocking to provide the best technology, gadgets, troubleshooting, and expertise available.
