Talk:Red X

I think there's a misunderstanding about Red X here. Xavier's was just kind of the seed program for the Red Cross, Red X continued to expand without Xavier's involvement. It might be more accurate to say that Xavier's students interest flagged not the program itself. Silensy 22:25, 6 November 2006 (EST)

Works for me - I was trying to gloss over the silence of 2005 IC, but apparently not terribly well. What made it difficult was the insistence that Red X was an Xavier's-only program at one point, the last time it came up, but if people are happy with it being piloted at Xavier's then expanded in 2005 to other schools with active mutant students, that works for me too. --Rossi 22:33, 6 November 2006 (EST)

I don't recall that ever being the case. Not that I've looked it up since, oh, July but as far as I can remember it was Red-X was the Red Cross's Mutant Program and Xavier's just happened to be a place with lots of activist mutants. HeliX was area exclusive but not Red-X. Silensy 22:37, 6 November 2006 (EST)

My mistake then - should have checked the XPP discussion. Entry's been edited, but if you feel there should be more, feel free to go in and make your own contribution. I'm just throwing stuff up as it strikes my fancy, having done my assigned work already. --Rossi 22:46, 6 November 2006 (EST)

I try to keep my fingers out of things that aren't mine. I don't like messing up other people's stuff. Yes, I know it's a wiki and thus meant to have everyone all over everything but I'm uncomfortable with it. So...yeah. I'm sure whatever you decide on is fine. Silensy 22:53, 6 November 2006 (EST)

Heh, I was getting that feeling. But seriously, if you come across something factually off (which can happen when I dash off something quickly) or a bit on the skimpy side, please go ahead and contribute. Whilst the Recent Changes makes it look like I'm practically writing this thing, I'm by no means possessive. Although if it does make you uncomfortable, at least I know why these little notes now. ;) --Rossi 23:01, 6 November 2006 (EST)

Hee, yes. I'm not trying to be all 'oh you missed a spot' about it. I'm just not wanting to be in the way when I don't know if there's a Plan or something that I don't know about. Silensy 23:05, 6 November 2006 (EST)

No plan. I've done all my assigned stuff so I'm just grabbing things around the edges. ;) Well, actually there is a Plan: Stage 1 = Timelines, which are just about done. Stage 2 and 3 = Characters and Plots, which were just handed out. Stage 4 = Everything Left Over and Maintenance. I'm in Stage 4. ;) --Rossi 23:46, 6 November 2006 (EST)

There is a copy of the proposal in the modlist at some point. It's got the stage outlines and everything in place, and that's what we've been following. It was sent in mid-May if you want to reference it.

Yes, I have it nearly memorized. And yet, I'm still afraid of stepping on toes. I'm just irrational like that. Silensy 02:11, 7 November 2006 (EST)
