Moment of Awesome - Betsy Braddock/Psylocke Beset by episodes of sleep-walking, Betsy disturbs former SHIELD agent Natasha Romanoff with her nocturnal break-and-enter attempt.

If she had been awake, Betsy would not have been able to tell anyone where she'd gotten the small knife she was using from, or why she was using it to try and pry open the lock to the suite of another mansion resident, especially one she had never even met. However, as she was not awake, none of this entered her head. Instead all of her concentration was focused on sliding the blade into the small gap between the door and it’s frame and trying to force open the latch.

Natasha took a cautious look through the peephole and frowned when she didn't recognize who was on the other side. Maybe it was one of the newer mansion residents because those were continually popping up all over the place. At least she thought Clint had mentioned it anyway. Or it might've been one of the ones that didn't stay at the mansion on the regular. But that was besides the point. The stranger thing was that this girl was asleep, a very active sleep. Natasha thumped her hand against the door to see if that would be enough of a jolt to wake this person up.

Betsy froze immediately at the sound, the knife’s edge still jammed against the latch. Her eyes remained unfocused, but she cocked her head to one side and her posture gave the impression of someone listening intently.

Natasha wasn't interested in opening the suite door. She didn't remember what this person's powerset was and didn't want to take any chances. She thumped her hand against the door again and called out, "Hey, you're at the wrong suite. You're confused." She didn't remember if it was a bad idea to wake sleep walkers up or not.

The telepath rested her forehead against the door and murmured "мы с вами как две капли воды...” Then a switch seemed to flip on and she took a startled step back, bumping against the opposite wall. “Wh — Where? Ow!” Betsy raised her hand to rub her forehead, without realising she had still been holding the penknife, which was unceremoniously dropped to the floor. A bead of blood started to swell in the cut on her eyebrow.

The words rattled something inside Natasha and she frowned as she yanked the door open enough to peer through it at the now awake person on the other side. "Hey, you okay?" Natasha cautiously opened the door even wide once she saw that Betsy seemed aware of her surroundings now. "You're in the living quarters wing.”

“I appear to be bleeding,” Betsy informed the stranger, holding up her smudged fingers as evidence. “Sorry. Living quarters?” She blinked owlishly at Natasha. “I was in my room…"

Natasha opened her door fully and took a quick glance around to see if anyone else had been roused by the small commotion then leaned against the door frame. "Uh, yeah, it looks like you sleepwalked from your room further into mansion to where the non-students live." She paused. "I have a first aid kit in here if you'd like to get patched up."

“Sleepwalked? Oh, right, Topaz said I’d done that...” Betsy was quickly regaining her bearings and was looking around as well, trying to fit her surroundings in to the still incomplete mental map she had of the giant mansion. “I apologise for the commotion I've caused. I’d hate to bother you any further but if you could just give me a plaster and point me in the direction of the kitchen, please? I think I could do with some coffee after this."
