Moment of Awesome - Felicia Hardy/Black Cat: After his spectacular fall from grace, Felicia visits Warren Worthington in rehab and they begin to repair a friendship.

"Do we hug? Is this where we hug? Or do we just nod appropriately in each other's direction and move on?"

"That's up to you," Felicia replied, her wooden delivery softened by the idle fidgeting with her manicure. "I'm fine with it, even if I may not be thrilled with you at the moment, but that's not quite the same as trauma with my face on it. I'll be terribly insulted and secretly hurt of course."

Warren gave out a huff of breath and stood up before enveloping Felicia in a tight embrace. "Your face has never been traumatic, nor will it ever be." He continued to hug her in silence before stepping away, his eyes glistening with something like tears, if he cried. Which he didn't, so obviously it wasn't. "Besides, be flattered -- if it had Sue's face, I would have run off screaming. Demons want what demons want and how could I deny the fact that I am amazing specimen for possession? Money, body, looks, charm ... I'm the whole package. Oh and that whole addictions thing. That adds to it, right?"

Felicia blinked rapidly, looking out at the brightly lit window. "Oh my god, shut up, this foundation is Dior," she said with a sniff, clearing her throat. "You know I'm a you specifically sympathetic crier."

"I'm glad you're... us okay I just. Don't know how to react, honestly. You're mine and that's probably never going to change, nor do I need you to change, but if you want to it's your life and-" she rambled, finally giving up and settling into the chair opposite him, gently coaxing her eyelashes back into place with the back of her pointer finger. "I have no idea how to articulate any of this, wow."

Warren followed suite, and sat in his chair, his long legs stretched out in front of him, his arms crossed loosely in his lap. "I don't think there's a manual we should be following here, but at least I'm doing the right things now. I hope. I think. Bobbi tells me I am. My parents seem indifferent. I think my father sees this all as a sign of weakness, not that I care in the slightest. It looks good at the end. Society has become much more sympathetic to life's little bumps." He cleared his throat.

"How's you? Are you okay?"

"Your father is a level of terrible that has surpassed the phrase fucking asshole," Felicia replied automatically, an old hatred, no longer worth thought beyond she hoped he died soon. With a final flutter of her drying lashes, she looked back at Warren. "Still fabulous. I mean, I miss y- I've missed you, and the idea of something having my face sometimes makes me want to figuratively set things on fire but- oh and there was this thing where Skynet put a bunch of us in a zombie world that I super did not enjoy and I may be developing feelings for my fuck buddy."

Felicia smiled with her teeth. "But probably not, it's me. At the end of the day, I'm still hot and rich, can't be that bad."
