Zhang Tong is a 100 year old Chinese businessman with strong ties to the Chinese underworld, obsessed with longevity and maintaining his empire, an old man, dreaming of the past. He is also a pre-Revolution Imperialist, determined to bring back the good old days of the Middle Kingdom. To this end, he has devoted his later years to locating and obtaining various artifacts, known for their power.
