Biography
Raised as an only child, Joe was used to the spotlight from an early age. He developed a love for acting early in life, longing to play leading roles, rather than just children. In the last three school plays, Joe has been passed up for the lead role, something that has infuriated him to no end as he wishes attend Julliard upon graduation. Joe developed his invisibility powers when he was 14 and has kept it hidden from everyone. He’s used his ability for his own gain; mostly eavesdropping and some voyeurism. When he failed to get the role in A Midsummer's Night's Dream that he wanted, he used his powers to play a series of pranks on the other cast members, until the New Mutants set up a sting and caught him on film. He agreed after that to behave himself and not use his powers to hurt.
Powers/Abilities
Invisibility: Joe has the ability to create a field of electrostatic energy around his body’s surface. The field bends the light around him to create an illusion of invisibility. The bent light blends seamlessly into the surroundings in low light conditions, but in natural light or smoky atmosphere a shimmer appears around the edges of the field. Unfortunately for Joe, his powers don’t extend to his clothes or the things he’s touching, so to use his abilities to their full extent, Joe must be naked.
