Welcome, students, staff and friends, to X-Project. I apologise that this message is a trifle late; Dr. McCoy believes that it was eaten by the system. I have always believed that communication is key to understanding each other -- and understanding our humanity. With this end in mind, Dr. Henry McCoy and I would like to present this interactive journaling and communication system. I hope that you all feel free to use it, not only to communicate with your colleagues and friends, but also to record your own thoughts. To encourage you to discuss amongst your peers matters which you would not wish to discuss with the community at large, Dr. McCoy has created three separate communities for our use: x_journal is for all participants. x_staff is restricted to teachers and colleagues and is inaccessible by students. x_students is restricted to students and is inaccessible by staff. The system is accessible through the internal computer system here at the school and a secure Internet portal via LiveJournal.com. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
In the years since, we've seen X-Project grow and change, with the occasional city destruction or demon invasion to nudge things along. We've destroyed one dimension, relocated the entire game to a new journal platform, seen players come and players go. And we're still here. Way to go, X-Project! |
