To provide appropriate credit for images.

Usage

To use, copy:

click on "Upload file" (left hand toolbar) and paste into the "Summary" section of the image page.

Key

• Description: A brief description of the contents of the image.

• Source: Where and how the image was created: URL where the image was taken from if applicable; if the editor uploading the image scanned, screencapped or photographed something to create the image, identify what it was scanned, capped, or photographed from.

• Copyright/Permission status: The copyright status of the work. This field accepts several case-sensitive shortcuts:
  • Fair: Images used under fair use.
  • CC: Images licensed under Creative Commons Licensing. More specific Creative Commons licenses should be specified where applicable.
  • CC-BY: Images licensed under Creative Commons BY.
  • CC-BY-SA: Images licensed under Creative Commons BY-SA.
  • CC-BY-ND: Images licensed under Creative Commons BY-ND.
  • CC-BY-NC: Images licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC.
  • CC-BY-NC-SA: Images licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA.
  • CC-BY-NC-ND: Images licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC-ND.
  • Public Domain: Images that are in the public domain.
  • Permission: Images used with the permission of the creator.

• Category: When it's the first image used for the character/NPC/villain/location/etc page, it's the year they appeared in X-Project, such as: [[Category:2024]]. If it's an icon for the Characters page or team images, use [[Category:Pics]]. If it's an image used for advertising, such as the MOA cards, use [[Category:Advertising]]. And if it's art produced for the game, use [[Category:Fiction and Art]]
