When his cover was blown, he fled for his life to [[Charles Xavier]], cutting a deal with the US government to avoid imprisonment for his own terrorist actions. He reunited with his sister [[Wanda Maximoff| Wanda]], but their relationship, always a rocky one, had further strain placed on it by her position with [[X-Force]]. Pietro became an X-Man in order to try and redeem some of his own actions, but it wasn't enough for him - never a people person - to make the connections he needed, and the speedster eventually took on a job as security consultant to the royal family of [[Attilan]], old friends of his. Attilan is but a small island - will Pietro's notoriously short attention span find another avenue in the future?
