Biography

The current head of the Nefaria Family is a woman known only as Madam Masque due to the gold plated masks she wears at all times. She is actually Giulietta ‘Whitney Frost’ Nefaria, the illegitimate daughter of Count Luchino Nefaria and Candace Frost, the wife of Byron Frost, the main legal authority for the East Coast Maggia. She was raised as Whitney Frost as Byron’s natural daughter in New York society and crossed paths with contemporaries like Warren Worthington and Felicia Hardy in her teens.

Once she finished school, she was invited to the Old World Maggia to meet the Count and her true parentage was revealed to her. As a Frost, she couldn’t ever head a family, but as his daughter, she was automatically in the position to head the Nefarias in either the Old World or East Coast Maggia. While Whitney was working with the Count in Italy, his estate was the target of the theft of documents by Felicia Hardy. When the heist went bad, Felicia escaped but not before accidentally badly scarring Frost’s face. A year later, ‘Madam Masque’ was introduced as the heir to the Nefaria family and moved back to New York to take over operations in the East Coast.
