Moment of Awesome - Stephen Strange: Stephen and Clea Lake take the next step in their relationship when he proposes... that they move into a shared suite together.

There was something about packing and moving, almost like a requirement mandated b the universe. No matter how clean, how careful you were, somehow some dust always managed to appear attracted as if by magic. Stephen shook his head, barely managing to hold back another sneeze as he reached for another pile of books, rolling his shoulders as he transferred it to an empty box. "You know, there's this thing called the internet and e-readers. You don't actually need books anymore right?"

Clea walked out of the bathroom with the last of her things. She looked at Stephen and giggled at his suggestion. "True, and I do use a kindle but there is somethings about books. The clean crisp pages, the smell of new books, the way they hold up over the years. Also I don't have to worry when the battery dies." She put the box on the counter. "And I don't have a ton of books. Maybe half a ton." Clea laughed again, clearly she was in a good mood.

"Yeah, obviously that's nothing," one hand waved at the stack of boxes filled with her collection as Stephen turned a playful grin on his girlfriend, "You do realise that I could enchant your kindle so it never runs out of power right...I'll do it right now if you promise it means we don't have to lug these boxes upstairs and unpack them. I think you might be the only person who sorts their personal library by the dewey decimal system." Clea might not be that bad, but teasing her was just soo much fun.

"I am pretty sure there is one other person in this world that probably does that and more. And you don't want to cross her in her library." Clea sighed, "But I like my books. How about, we create a teleportation portal and we just teleport everything there? Also, this is only just a small portion of my stuff. The rest of it is in England."

"Yeah, I remember...the last time your parents let me and Bas into your room I thought that you actually slept on those books. And your bookshelves...how do they not burst open and bury you in an avalanche every time you move in there?" The teenager stood, pressing his hands into the small of his back for a moment before he shook his head, "Doesn't that feel a little too much like cheating? Come on...you don't want Amanda or Topaz scolding you for being lazy and misusing magic...do you?"

Clea smirked at those memories as she wondered how Bas was doing. She missed him. "No." Clea looking over at Steve. "We are witches, it would be practicing. And why not use our powers to help our every day lives. Pretty sure everyone here does it with their powers from time to time."

A soft sigh escaped Stephen's lips as he shook he head, reaching for one of the boxes, "Clea...I love you but you can be so oblivious sometimes. If we do it by hand then I get to show off how manly and strong I am to this girl I happen to like so...help a guy out here huh?"

"But how will he do this when he wants her to get a kindle?" Clea winked at him before placing the last of the bathroom things into the box and lifted it and looked around the room, "Goodbye suite. I hardly used you."

"Goodbye suite...totally sorry, not sorry about that," Stephen hefted the box of clothes he'd taken pushing open the door as he slipped up and set off down the corridor. "Ok, so...this way then, gotta get you settled in as soon as possible right?"

"I am not planning on unpacking tonight. Packing everything up was bad enough." She followed her boyfriend down the hall, "Steve, I don't think my new suite is this way."

"It totally is," Stephen twisted his head to grin at her, "I know a shortcut to get us there faster. Trust me."

"Unless you created a door that leads to another place, I don't believe you know another shortcut without telling me." Clea tilted her head to the side but continued to follow Steve down the hall before they stopped at a door. "Stephen?"

"Yes?" The teenager shouldered open the door to his suite, dropping the box on the couch and turning to smirk at Clea, "Are you coming in, or do I have to carry you over the threshold?" A mischievous twinkle danced in his eyes as he took a step closer, "cause you know I totally will."

Clea narrowed her eyes at him. "I know you would, but are you asking me to be your suitemate?"

"Well not exactly," A faint blush coloured Stephen's cheeks as he reached up to run a hand through his hair. "I figured the other room could make an office...or you know a closet for all your things so I guess...I mean what I'm really asking is...awww hell." The teenager grinned nervously and dropped down to one knee holding out a key, "Clea...would you be my roommate?"

Clea heart felt like it was pounding out of her chest as he got one one knee and she laughed when he brought out the key. She dropped her box and picked up the key. "Yes."

There really was no hiding the stupid inane grin that painted itself over Stephen's face as he rose to his feet, depositing the key in her hand before bending to lift her off her feet. "So let me give you the tour, in here is the lounge, that's the kitchen, we'll make that the library little miss books."

Clea laughed and shook her head but didn't reset as Stephen picked her up. "You're so charming sometimes, you know that?"

That grin wasn't going away anytime soon, "Well, how else do you explain me ending up with you?"
