Westchester College is the local university attended by those Xavier's students who preferred to stay close to home. It is a small multi-discipline campus in Salem Center, with a variety of classes in the less academic areas. It has excellent correspondence courses.
The cross-town "rival" of Westchester College is Westchester Community College.
