Zeitgeist is a bar near the Southwest border of District X. It's a magnet for various members of counter- and sub-cultures including the biker, LGBT, goth, rivet and fetish communities. It's mutant owned and its regular patrons are mostly mutants. Patrons are generally of the tattooed and pierced variety, often clad in leather or black. Visible mutants frequent the place often as well. Hipsters are generally unwelcome and unseen at Zeitgeist.

Inside the bar there are several pool tables, worn down couches and arm chairs. Booths line the walls and tables of incongruent size and shape populate the space away from the pool table area. In the back there's a kitchen with a window for ordering. They serve hamburgers, cheeseburgers, garden burgers and kielbasa or bratwurst along with normal, curly, seasoned and chili fries and onion rings. Sometimes when the owner is feeling fancy they serve mac and cheese. The beginning of summer usually sees spare ribs irregularly frequent the menu.

Outside there is a beer garden. Long patio tables lined up after one another create almost half a dozen rows of seating. The patio is open whenever there isn't snow or ice on the ground and it's not raining, but it's only crowded in the warmer months. The owners hope to enclose and cover it for use in the winter as well, but the retractable roof they would want for the summer months is costly and who can afford that sort of thing these days?

The bartenders are known to not putting up with rude people or anyone they see as starting trouble. They keep several baseball bats behind the bar and aren't afraid of bodily throw people out. The guy who works the door is electrokinetic and works as a human taser when people start fights or trouble.
