WHAT MON SAID IN AN EMAIL TO ZOILA AND IS PUTTING HERE UNTIL SHE CAN POLISH TO MAKE THIS SOUND PROPER
Meridian Enterprises got started as a modelling agency. Basically representing models, finding them jobs. From there I figure it expanded into actually designing clothes, the way her original empire in p1 did. So now there is finding models jobs and designing clothes. Primarily activewear. So not like, fancy couture stuff, but way more mainstream- the kind of stuff that would be sold at Targets and H&Ms. Accessible stuff.
Where p2 differs from p1 is in the fact that in addition to finding models jobs, they also find jobs- or, more appropriately, do deals to get the most money possible- for athletes and musicians. Basically, they act as agents. And the other thing they do is PR work.
So, I see it like a three-pronged fork. Acting as agents, fashion design, and PR. Obviously, there are lots of departments and satellite offices and different people managing the different arms of all this. But Adri is the CEO. I think of it in kinda the same way as my office of consulting engineers, where we have different departments like electrical engineers, structural engineers, environmental engineers- but then we also bought two architecture firms, and two restaurants (wtf?!) and four other little consulting firms that have different branches of expertise from our main one. And ONE GUY is the boss of all this stuff. So Adri's like that guy.
And while in p1 her company went from being private to being publicly traded (ie anyone can buy stocks) I think this p2 one is still private, like the one I work for, where the EMPLOYEES can buy stocks after a certain amount of years with the company, but there are a limited number of stocks so they're only available when someone who already has them retires or leaves the company. And Adri owns the controlling interest, obvs ;)
