As an adult, his hedonistic lifestyle frustrated and shocked them. It wasn't until a very public breakdown that Worthington Senior decided enough was enough and fired his son from his position at Worthington Industries and disowned him. Warren eventually managed to restore himself in his parents' good graces after undergoing rehab, and was rewarded with a position at the WI offices in Switzerland.
