Moment of Awesome - Felicia Hardy/Black Cat: Undercover during an X-Force mission, Felicia has fun with her 'boy toy'.

"This is all so..." Gabriel's lip curled as he looked around, but he caught sight of Felicia's face and remembered he was supposed to be in character. "Amazing! Wow, I just can't believe it. Never imagined being in a place like this." That was true. His eyes flickered around, unable to keep noticing the water that surrounded this boat they were going to be sailing on.

He looked up at Felicia, whose heels made her taller than him. "I still don't understand," he murmured quietly, leaning into her to look affectionate, "why I couldn't wear my own clothes."

Felicia laughed, gently smacking him on the shoulder as if he'd said something much less grumpy and much more lascivious. "Because I am mean. Also, you have a semblance of taste and these needed to be I have no taste but this hot lady pays someone to pretend to have taste but really just suggest the most expensive thing in the store which she'll buy because she wants to prove something," she replied into his ear, snaking her arm around his waist, head turned just so as if to check people were watching. "Sorry not sorry."

"Fine, fine." Gabriel brushed a piece of lint off the tight shirt she'd given him earlier, then looked up at her adoringly. "So what now? I don't suppose," he perked up a bit, "the bar's on the agenda? Something to keep my mind off the floating death trap?"

"I'm so sorry, I am the worst fake girlfriend ever," Felicia said, after a pained noise, gently squeezing his arm. "Yes, all the alcohol. For research. And character! Both of those. What's your drink, other than anything if it makes this super boat less stupid?"

"I can't tell if you're mocking me," he said slowly, giving her a skeptical look, "but a top-shelf whisky, neat, wouldn't be the worst thing in the world." A waiter had been wandering around taking drink orders, and Gabriel did his best to catch the man's eye. "I suppose you'll have to order for me, and I'll have to look grateful and say something incredibly stupid."

Felicia smiled, sugar sweet and more than a little unnerving, but didn't respond, instead beckoning a server nearer and was promptly handed a glass of champagne and tumbler of whiskey from his tray. "Everything is top shelf here," she said in a low voice as the server walked away, easily misunderstood. When he was far enough away she continued. "Come on. Let's have some fun before we have to go to work."
