Details
In the aftermath of Genosha the charges or terrorism levelled against the X-men created a crisis for Elpis. Several countries they worked in used it as an opportunity to deny Elpis access to their countries. Faced with this choice the board was left with no choice but to fire Angelo, John and Amara rather than risk their ongoing projects. Professor Xavier was not satisfied with this outcome and had realized that the X-men were no longer enough. Mutant kind needed to generate a much better public image, to this en he persuaded Angelo to set up a humanitarian organization based out of the mansion; X-Corps.
