Banshee: Sean Cassidy was an Interpol agent for many years, who believed his wife and infant daughter had been killed in an IRA bombing in 1988. Ten years later, he was stunned to find Theresa had survived, raised by his cousin, rival and unashamed criminal, "Black" Tom Cassidy. Unable to cope with a daughter raised to hate him, their mutual sonic powers threatening to destroy the ancient family home of Cassidy Keep when they fought, Sean sent her to Xavier's. Five years later he took early retirement from Interpol and took a teaching position at the school, determined to try and reconcile with his daughter. Some inroads were made, but Sean was frequently called back to Ireland by the demands of former cases and his position of Lord of the Keep. When Interpol came calling again, offering Sean a consultant position, he took it - his parting gift to his daughter and her new husband, Bobby Drake, was the custodianship of Cassidy Keep, and a promise to return whenever she needed him.
