==Plot Summary==

A year and a half ago, Madin left the Brotherhood. Six months ago, they wound up at the mansion with a paper-thin cover story and secrets. 

Garrison Kane had concerns about the cover story and Madin was not particularly good at subterfuge so he began to look into the young mutant's story. A friend of Madin's from the [[Mutant Underground]] got in touch with Madin to mention that someone's been asking questions about Madin's time with them. 

Once this got back to Madin, Madin decided that it’s time to run. Well, time to have a little menty-b and then run. Short on allies, Madin reached out to Alani for a partial confession. Alani, unsure how to react, was reasonably gentle with the traumatized young person. However, the delay cost Madin their chance, as Snow Valley had just finished running the last leads Garrison gave them, directly implicating Madin as ex-[[Brotherhood of Mutants|Brotherhood]] at a minimum.

Madin was detained overnight in the [[Box]] while a group of senior X-Men and X-Force tried to work out what to do with them and what level of threat they might now possess. Quentin took the time to visit Madin in their cell. Eventually, fed up with the back adn forth, Kevin took matters into his own hands, pretending to be [[Magneto]]. 

Madin, terrified, attempted to fight after 'Magneto' claimed that the mansion has been breached and the inhabitants killed, and shed they had no current allegiance to the Brotherhood. Satisfied, Kevin reported back and Madin gave the full story to Garrison.

The next day, released, they came clean on the journals. A few days later, Madin left the mansion anyway, unable to stay despite their ongoing welcome. Quentin eventually points Madin toward a commune he'd become aware of in Portland and Madin headed there, unsure what else to do, becoming enmeshed in the events of ''[[A Haven to Call Home]]'.
