Curt Connors is a well-known authority in the field of adaptive biology, and was a professor at a noted college before being invited to Muir. Following the events of [[Proteus]], [[Rory Campbell]] vanished from Muir Island, leaving the position of facility administrator vacant. To ensure the smooth running of the facility, [[Moira MacTaggart]] hired Dr. Connors to oversee the ongoing research.
