Phase 1
Only referenced in passing, Stark Industries specialises in robotics, cybernetics, weapons and industrial manufacturing.
Stark Industries is believed to have many of the weapons and equipment contracts for SHIELD.
Phase 2
Stark Industries, under the guidance of Obadiah Stane, acquired Williams Innovations in a hostile takeover, leaving the Sanford family with almost nothing to their name. When Sanford Williams died several months later, his son, Simon Williams blamed Tony Stark for his death and was arrested after a public altercation in July 2015.
Former employee of Stark Industries (among others), Abner Jenkins, stole tech from his employers and developed a mecha suit in conjunction with Doctor Octopus.
