Superhero: On a day excursion to New York, Angelica Jones found she was the only one able to rescue a woman, her child and a firefighter, trapped in a burning building. With Charles guiding her telepathically, and David Haller and Garrison Kane literally galloping to her assistance, the young girl plunged into the heart of the fire. Not only was she able to help the three escape, she was able to overcome the fire fighter's initial mistrust of mutants. Angel was overwhelmed by what she'd done and hid the incident from her peers, until the fire fighters tracked her down from a dropped jacket and rewarded her with a medal - and a job offer.
