Magnetic North is a pro-mutant group, devoted to promoting the ideals of their idol Magneto, despite having never met the man. Over half of their members were captured and jailed following the kidnapping of President McKenna's daughters.

- Brennan Mulwray: electrokinetic. Was in government custody, escaped during X-Men Mission: Jailbreak, remains at large.
- Arlee Hicks: enhanced strength. Escaped during X-Men Mission: Jailbreak and was recaptured. Currently in the Vault.
- Refrax: xray and heat vision. Escaped during X-Men Mission: Jailbreak and was recaptured. Currently in the Vault.
- Adam Kane: technopath. Surrended to Garrison Kane during X-Men Mission: Leverage. Remained in prison by choice during X-Men Mission: Jailbreak and assisted in locking down the riot. Currently in the Vault.
- Shalimar Fox: feral; enhanced senses, increased agility and heightened strength and speed. Remains at large.
- Lexa Pierce: ability to become invisible. Captured during X-Men Mission: Jailbreak.
- Jesse Kilmartin: ability to alter body density to both an immaterial and an incredibly dense form; cannot breathe in altered state. Remains at large.
Details
Magnetic North is a mutant terrorist group that preaches the gospel of their idol, none other than Magneto. While none of the members have ever had any contact with the man himself, they follow his exploits closely and plan their moves according to how they think he would act in the same situation. Of course, as with any fringe group, Magnetic North attracts a wide range of fanatics, extremists and activists. Most members are drawn to Magnetic North for its values, though others just enjoy the excuse it gives them to be violent in the name of mutant kind.
In November 2009 during the country's biggest ever mass escape which was plotted by Shalimar, Lexa and Jesse as a way to recover their lost members, Gregor, Brennan, Arlee and Refrax escaped. They were located by a team of X-Men and Lexa was captured, Gregor, Arlee and Refrax were recaptured, but Brennan, Jesse and Shalimar remain at large.

Most of the characters for Magnetic North come from bad TV shows or movies with mutants, namely Generation X and Mutant X. Gregor comes from the original Generation X: Phalanx Covenant comic.
