Details
Janus is a hi-tech organization dedicated to imbuing baseline humans with mutant powers. This typically involves the abduction and illegal experimentation on unwilling mutant subjects. Janus came to SHIELD’s attention in 2010 after a hostage situation, and Supervisory Special Agent Everett Thomas and his Caterpillar team have been working to identify the leaders and dismantle the whole operation. Agent Thomas believes that Janus has a man (or men) inside SHIELD that keeps them abreast of SHIELD’s developments, but he has no real evidence to support that.
