Biography

Tomi “Gorgon” Shishido is a Japanese polymath super-genius with the ability to turn organic matter into stone with his eyes (i.e. transmutation) - an ability he discovered at age 13, which caused him to be shunned by his family and society. Growing up in seclusion, Shishido eventually murdered his whole clan at age 18 and became a member of a mutant death cult. He subsequently caught the attention of Madame Hydra when he conducted series of terrorist attacks in Japan and she recruited him to partake in HYDRA activities.

Not much is known of Shishido after he was folded into HYDRA but it is said that he was the mastermind behind many a HYDRA plot and mutant trafficking schemes.
