Patrick Connelly is a clairvoyant and forensic psychologist who works for the NYPD as a consultant. He spent a few months at the mansion years ago to get help mastering his abilities, and has kept intermittently in touch with some of the longer-term residents since.

Biography
Patrick Connelly was born in a working-class New England family. From childhood, he wanted to be a police officer, but his dream was derailed by his clairvoyant manifestation at age fifteen. He struggled with his abilities alone for nearly a year, until he finally confessed to his parents, who looked into getting him help and were directed to Charles Xavier.
Patrick was only a resident at the school for three or four months, but made friends easily. Once he had a basic level of control over his abilities, he moved into New York but continued to come to the school from time to time for further lessons with Charles. He and Ororo Munroe had a brief relationship but parted on friendly terms.
After completing a degree in forensic psychology, he began to work for the NYPD, and found acceptance among his coworkers for both his conventional skills and his mutant ability. He excels at his job and is completely devoted to it, one of the reasons why a second, even briefer attempt at a relationship with Ororo ended the same way as the first.
Powers/Abilities
Patrick is a touch-based clairvoyant. His ability works primarily on the visual level, allowing him to perceive distant objects, as well as events in the immediate past tied to the person he touches. He tends to avoid casual skin-to-skin contact with others, but has a high degree of focus and control when he chooses to use his abilities.
