Plot Summary
Laurie has always been a person who walked an edge between good choices and bad. In April 2021, the loss of her artificial limb that had until that time given her the ability to continue living her life as if she'd never lost a limb, pushed her into a downward spiral that ended in her manipulation and control of Darcy Lewis. This behavior would culminate in December 2021 with a fight between the two that forced Darcy into unconsciousness and Laurie into a transformation POD that would later be damaged by Spectrum in a misguided attempt to rescue her. This happenstance further injured Laurie to the point where Dr. Nathaniel Essex was the only logical way forward for her.

The plot was mainly written by Dex after a discussion with Seraph on Discord as to where she would like to see Laurie eventually end her PC journey. Tink was also a major influence in how the plot eventually took shape with the addition of Darcy Lewis to the fray.
