She quickly strutted past a table covered with emergency medical supplies, grabbing a large syringe with an extremely long needle as she passed. With the practiced ease of someone who'd been planning the motion for hours, thinking about it and planning every single instance so that not a motion was wasted and stride unbroken, she hip-checked the hapless younger volunteer, turned, and jammed the needle and syringe deep into the older man's chest. She pulled back on the plunger, and the syringe was instantly full of dark, de-oxygenated blood. The older man was breathing easier, as well. "Cardiac Tamponade," she explained as she focused on her work. "He's going to need a surgeon."
