Biography
Verde was a former partner of Lowenstein, involved in the early construction of Murderworld. During it, his hand was badly mangled in the construction and was amputated. Lowenstein used Lester's convalescence to seize his contributions and froze him out. Verde was left broke and shunned. He moved to New York and supported himself working on both legal and illegal alarm systems and internal security measures. His business became well enough known that it was selected to provide certain systems in the top floors of Lowenstein's Excelsior New York building. Verde has worked tirelessly to augment the building systems so he could take control, which he did in January 2017. Verde demanded $100M in bearer bonds and the immediate prosecution of Lowenstein as a criminal. One of the labs in the building was a SHIELD lab, through which he tracked the movements of the Avengers, requiring the X-Men to be called in to help. They succeeded in traversing Verde's traps and rescuing the hostages, but Verde himself escaped and is at large.
Powers/Abilities
A brilliant machinist and inventor, Verde has always been focused on clockwork interactions. His mutant powers lets him build and manipulate all his devices. His devices can be used by other people if a proper power source is applied, like TK.
