July 22 - Angelo Espinosa's birthday
2003: Kitty enlists Marie's help in her training and discovers she can phase other people by touching them. She then freaks out Marie by trying to touch her whilst phased after saying she wouldn't. Sarah enlists Essex's help in controlling her bones. X-Men Mission: Pyro: Scott goes on an errand for Charles Xavier. Crimson Dawn: Essex enlists Kitty's help in Betsy's treatment.
2004: Sean "Banshee" Cassidy becomes a teacher at the school. Amanda finds Manuel and Jubilee kissing. Marie-Ange frightens Nathan with one of her visions. Various students go clubbing for Angelo's 18th birthday. Haroun returns to the school. Betsy offers to teach an advanced mutation control class.
2005: After the last in a series of chess games, Nathan and Domino talk about her weekend plans, and manage to not-quite-talk about the subject that's really bothering her. Then Nathan is saved by the bell - except that the person on the other end of the cell phone is Saul Morrow, and Nathan finds out that GW did not, in fact, pass along that particular piece of news to Domino while she was in the Sudan. Haroun takes a group of the kids to a rock concert - the Warped Tour festival. Dani is scared of flying.
2006: Nathan has a talk with Ororo, and then later with Marie. Only he's not so nice to Marie, because he's got other things on his mind, like Afghanistan. Scott is reunited with Jean, and they discover the link's back. Angelo celebrates his 20th birthday, and Amanda gives him a book. Doug and Marie go on their first date.
2007: Jim thanks Lorna for reading the new Harry Potter book to Davey. Sound of Silence: During a training session between Wanda and Amanda, Illyana has a powers interaction and is accidentally teleported to Attilan and back, bringing back news that Forge, Crystal and Medusa are alive. Angelo's 21st birthday and Amanda gives him the news of Attilan.
2008: Jubilee asks Mark for help with her revenge against Doug. Angelo's birthday and Amanda gives him all the information she's been able to dig up about his father's murder; there's something odd in the autopsy report that he needs to check with the doctors; Angelo posts a humorous video that Dom gave him for his birthday, mocking Nathan; Forge gives Angelo a bottle of Attilani rum. Jennie and Callie meet out by the pool. Forge announces the new Blackbird is nearly finished and calls for names. Sulaco: Jay goes to the clinic Mark mentioned and offers himself as a test subject for a new drug. Nathan gives Ororo Danger Room training scenarios as a present and talks about his upcoming vacation with Moira and Rachel. Jane announces the bake-off for the upcoming Saturday and asks Tommy to gild a spatula as the prize.
2009: Paige posts tipsy, demanding a medical tricorder. Sarah asks if anyone else is having toaster issues. Amanda wishes Angelo a happy birthday and apologises for her post. Scott talks to Sam about the incident and winds up benching him and sending him to talk to Charles; Charles suspends Sam from teaching and puts him on anger management counselling; Jay hunts down Sam and the talk goes as well as all the others. Fiddler's Green: Checking on Nathan and Jean-Paul, Jeanne-Marie winds up talking to Nathan about why he let himself be caught; Adrienne emails Lil to make sure Garrison is all right after his post; Nick talks to Shiro about his Catseye dilemma, but Shiro is distracted by memories of letting Alpha die; when Jean-Paul drops by to check on him, Shiro tells him the truth and they agree to keep it secret; Marie emails Garrison to make sure he's okay; Julio visits Nathan with work and reveals there's a place for Machado's Taygetos children in Brazil; Julian comes down to medlab to get his bandage changed and is shocked to stumble in on Nathan, looking like hell. Catseye asks Johnny why Nick might be uncomfortable about her kissing him thank you and teases information about his crush on Lil out of him. Cammie (and the rest of the mansion) are amused to find Crystal singing ABBA while playing SingStar; Dori joins in. Johnny gets jealous when Lex interrupts his training with Lil and flirts with her. Charles asks Sam to come and talk to him. Jean emails Kyle, demanding to know why he isn't still in the medlab. Crystal offers Jean her help in medlab. Mutation Sternutation: Cammie and Callie talk destructive powers; Julian runs into Crystal after seeing Nathan and they talk about their swapped powers and growing up as 'royalty'.
2010: Butterflies and Hurricanes: Vanessa emails Bishop about a number of missing mutants. Wanda gets back and lets her work mates know. Amanda wishes Angelo a happy birthday. Yvette announces her and Angel's return from Seattle and is surprised to find out Angel's cousins were flirting with her. Jubilee ambushes Jean-Paul in District X and throws a muffin at his head.
2011: Amanda wishes Angelo a happy birthday. Dori e-mails Kyle about dinner and stuff, and a date is made. Don't Close Your Eyes: After no improvement in Jean's condition, Hank and Haller discuss what the next step should be. Kevin makes a journal entry about Kyle choking because his phone or the internet was trying to kill him. Meggan makes a journal entry about Dori freaking out and screaming hysterically before running up into a tree. Dori e-mails Doug about her good news. The Problématique: Warren texts Vanessa to apologize and explain why he missed her last text. Dori runs into Julian and gives him her good news re: Kyle in person; he is not impressed.
2012: Any Port in a Storm: Sue wakes up in the infirmary and finds out what her father had decided while she was unconscious. Yvette leaves Angelo a gift-wrapped mug, with "World's Best Boss" on it, for his birthday. Amanda leaves Angelo a framed picture of him, Nathan, and Rachel from an outing in New York as a birthday gift. Doug leaves Angelo a high end bottle of tequila and a pair of theater tickets for his birthday. Sooraya leaves a feather duster for Angelo as a fake birthday gift, with a small black leather case for business cards hidden inside as the real gift. Molly leaves a glittery package for Angelo as a birthday gift, containing a dozen stretchy men, a giant rubber band ball, a drawing of Angelo with a cape and mask, and a bone for Joyita.
2013: Sooraya gives Angelo two theater tickets for his birthday. Molly gives Angelo a painted action figure as a present. She Sells Sea Shells: The New Mutants arrive at the smugglers' cave for the field trip; the kids explore the tunnel as Sam and Korvus fall behind; entering the cave, the students notice a change happening to the cave around them and a secret door opens; as the statues come to life around them and attack the students, the New Mutants fight back, trying to survive the trap they find themselves in; Sue is poisoned and nearly dies, but Tandy discovers a new facet to her powers and saves her.
2014: Jean-Phillipe and Amanda both post to wish Angelo a happy birthday.
2015: Hope A. emails Wade about their lesson for tomorrow and how she won’t be able to make it due to work. Felicia posts another instantgram photo about her shoot. Amanda posts the topic for the next Magical 101 class - Magical Dimensions; Amanda emails Megan about Magic class and how it is just them two until Topaz gets back. Jean leaves pens for Angelo. Wade texts Marie-Ange that he left Hope A. a box of locks and told her to pick them. Amanda says happy birthday to Angelo.
2016: Amanda wishes Angelo a happy birthday.
2017: Maya is excited about the first UK sign language poetry slam. Amanda emails X-Force about the Winding Way causing problems with the reliability of the occult network.
2018: Sins of the Father: Jubilee texts Amanda to let her know the information she asked for is at a drop point waiting for her; Bobby is the next victim of the curse; Miles is sick with worry when Bobby doesn’t answer his texts; Jean posts an update on the situation on xp_journal.
2019: Sooraya and Angelo talk about the possibility of X-Corps being revived.
2020:
2021: Arise, X-Man: Laurie is rather bitter after a physiotherapy session and posts a poem, Icarus Laughed When He Fell. For Angelo’s birthday, Amanda suggests a dinner at Mama Lupe’s for the ‘old timers’. Darcy is perplexed by Southern recipes involving gelatin. A new aspect of Hope A.'s powers emerges during a training session with Jean and Quentin gets dragged into it.
2022: Gabriel bemoans losing the mansion's human ice machine and works by the pool.
2023: Terry texts Darcy to let her know she's left food for her. April messages the Grad Girls of the mansion to clue them into the places Sooraya's been asking about. Jean-Phillipe announces that it is Angelo's birthday and people are welcome to join the celebration.
