Johnny Gallo: Rejected by his father for his mutancy after the death of his mother, Johnny hid his powers until his abduction by a well-meaning mutant cult brought him into contact with Jean-Paul Beaubier and the X-Men. Johnny formed a close relationship with the Quebecois, finding in him a surrogate parent where his own had left him to the school's repsonsibility. Gradually Johnny's circle expanded; a crush on Lillian Crawley-Jeffries, becoming study buddies with the equally-restless Doreen Green and a close friendship with his new roommate Victor Borkowski. And as those new relationships began to slip (Lil returning to Canada; Jean-Paul's fragile mental state after his psychic torture and the return of his twin sister), Johnny's father attempted a reconciliation. It did not go according to plan, but in the end, Johnny returned home to New York to help his father recover. His powers, however, are still largely unexplored and Xavier's remains the best future option for that.
