Reavers: The Reavers are a group of cyborgs who work as mercenaries for the highest bidder. Enhanced using Donald Pierce's cybernetic technology, they couple technological advantages with military training to stunning effect. In March 2005 the Reavers, under contract from Sebastian Shaw, attacked the mansion in an attempt to steal files from Cerebro. The assault was a failure as the X-Men and some of the mansion's students drove the Reavers off, with the mercenaries taking enough casualties to prompt a hasty retreat. Later on, a group of Reavers took part in a bounty hunt organized by Arcade, encountering Remy LeBeau and Ororo Munroe.
