The X-Ranch is one of the foremost mutant bordello and pornographic media studio in America. It is owned and operated by an open mutant known as Stacy X and incorporated in the state of Nevada, fully licensed and legal across the board. The X-Ranch is notorious online for mutant specific porn serving to mutants and those with mutant kinks. The cam feeds were expensive and hard to access, although pirated copies showed up on other sites from time to time. The bordello itself is open to selected clientele who are required to apply for a reservation. Those are carefully vetted and only those who receive an invitation are permitted to enter. Due to the high levels of mutant hate and the visibility of an openly pro-mutant business, potential clients are screened for anti-mutant backgrounds and more than one attempted infiltration by Sapiens League or FoH has led to security forces on the grounds removing the threat.
X-Ranch is based on a large central building, which looks like a ranch style boutique hotel. It opens into a massive lobby, there are multiple ground floor parlors for entertaining, parties, and arranged orgies. Most client rooms are on the second floor and the third floor houses the cam studios and servers. The fourth floor is Stacy X' private quarters and off limits. Behind the main house is a smaller building with private rooms for the inhouse entertainers, as well as a barn for maintenance equipment, a large pool/patio area and well kept grounds. The perimeter is guarded by electric fencing and cameras, and a small security staff - all mutants - provides overall protection. Visitors to the X Ranch are primarily accommodated at the Sunset Hotel, a medium sized hotel and conference center just up the street also owned by Stacy X. Clients are rarely allowed to stay overnight on the grounds.
In addition to sex work, the X Ranch is a vital cog in the Mutant Underground. Mutants, especially runaways, teens and vulnerable minorities are funneled to the Ranch. Most are put up for a few nights at the Sunset, where Stacy has a block of rooms in a quiet section permanently arranged for them, before moving along the Underground. Those who wish to stay longer usually end up working for the hotel in some capacity for a time, giving them a chance to earn some money and figure out what they want. Transients on the Underground are kept entirely separate from the Ranch, however, Stacy does keep tabs on those she thinks have promise, and over the years, some members of her existing talent originally passed through first with the Underground.
With the Underground, a cut out is used, so even the highest levels engaged with it don't know Stacy or X Ranch is specifically attached. Almost all think the main contact is based around the Sunset, which is officially owned by Miranda Leevald, an apparently reclusive real estate magnate.
