Plot Summary
Turmoil within the Maggia starts to heat up, as the Hammerhead and Manfredi Families openly challenge the attempts by Madam Masque and the Neferia Family to take more power. After news breaks of a mob shootout in Queens between rival families that resulted in two dead, X-Force uses the chaos to run an op in the works quietly for a long time: infiltrating a Maggia event in order to steal a huge amount of information and records from their archives. The Maggia uses an betrothal party as a cover for a meeting to attempt to start the conflict. X-Force infiltrates the party, using Emma and Doug with their legitimate invites to distract and bug the party. Marie-Ange, Topaz and Kevin compromised security enough to give Felicia and Sarah a way in to retrieve both physical and electronic records from the building and escape. The meeting between the heads of the five Maggia families fails to resolve their issues meaning further escalation.
X-Force escapes with a wealth of Maggia intel, including details of the prison contract for the death of Walter Hardy being issued by Hammerhead himself.
