Timing
Plot Summary
Following the news of a mutant-positive rock festival in Minneapolis, Dori received a call from Big Barda of the Great Lakes Avengers, regarding a potential terrorist threat from the Purifiers. She and Kyle notified Scott, who arranged for a team to attend the event. At the same time, several of the younger mansion residents were also planning to attend the weekend-long festival.
Upon arriving, Kurt and Sam talked to the concert coordinators, Benni and Guido, about the events for the next couple of days while Scott, Dori and Monkey Joe met Big Bertha get the security details. The first night passed without incident, with the X-Men patrolling the concert out of uniform, keeping an eye out for trouble.
On the second night of the concerts, the Purifiers made their move, setting off a series of explosives to create a panic. With the X-Men and the younger mansionites doing their best to evacuate the crowds and take down clumps of Purifiers, Tabitha and Vance plus the police Bomb Squad dealt with the remaining bombs. The concert was saved, although some of the Purifiers managed to evade capture.
