X2 - Magneto, Toad, Sabretooth and Mystique.
Roster
Mystique | A mysterious shapeshifter, utterly loyal to Magneto, who uses her insight into people to manipulate them.
PB: Rebecca Romijin, socked by Erin |
Toad | Erstwhile inventor of the group, Toad often bears the brunt of Magneto's wrath. |
Blob | Blob (aka Fred Dukes) is an old acquaintance of Magneto who avoided recruitment for years, having no ideological interest in his war. However, when first his MMA career and then his circus career were destroyed by being outed as a mutant, he finally joined out of resentment. Due to his mass and bulk, he is immensely strong and almost invulnerable to harm.
PB: Kevin Durand, socked by Dex This entry is about the Phase 2 incarnation of the character. For other uses, see Fred Dukes (disambiguation). |
Senyaka | Senyaka was recruited as part of his introduction to the inner level of the Brotherhood. The closely guarded mutant has given no hints to his background or history beyond his name. He possesses of the power to drain the bio-electrical essence of others upon physical contact using a pair of psionic whips.
PB: Rana Daggubati, socked by Frito This entry is about the Phase 2 incarnation of the character. For other uses, see Senyaka (disambiguation). |
Dragoness | Dragoness is a young mutant found by Magneto after her parents died of cancer and she was abandoned by the foster system once her wings emerged. She has a pair of leathery wings, the ability to fly, and the ability to generate and store bio-electricity, which can either be released as blasts or as blinding pyrotechnics.

Unus the Untouchable | Unus is a former professional wrestler who was kicked out once his mutant abilities were leaked to the media. Unable to find work, he was recruited by his good friend Blob into the Brotherhood. He can generate a field of invisible psionic energy around his body. The field acts to deflect objects and even energy beams and can withstand great concussive force. |
Thornn | A former Morlock, Thornn moved to the Brotherhood after growing frustrated by the lack of will from her fellow Morlocks to strike back against corrupt police and city officials. Thornn is a feral, with enhanced agility, claws, healing factor and a prehensile tail.
PB: Sydney Wease, socked by Dex This entry is about the Phase 2 incarnation of the character. For other uses, see Thornn (disambiguation). |
Unuscione | Unuscione was recruited in Europe and brought into the Brotherhood. She has the ability to project a field composed of psionic energy around herself. This field can be manipulated to attack others, is extremely strong, and renders her immune to psionics like telepathy and empathy. She can also channel bio-electrical blasts through the field as well.
PB: Miriam Leone, socked by Dex This entry is about the Phase 2 incarnation of the character. For other uses, see Unuscione (disambiguation). |
Mastermind | Jason Wyngarde is one of the oldest members of the Brotherhood. He rarely deploys with the team, as his powers make him central to maintaining the Brotherhood’s extensive network of supporters and allies. He is a master illusionist and supports the illusions with his natural charisma as a conman. There is a minor psionic component to his powers which provides sensory details to his illusions to make them seem more real.
PB: Aidan Gillen, socked by Dex This entry is about the Phase 2 incarnation of the character. For other uses, see Jason Wyngarde (disambiguation). |
Phantazia | Phantazia is a recent recruit – a young woman whose abilities are strange enough that her mental state is somewhat fragile. Formerly a part of the Mutant Underground, it’s not known why she left for the Brotherhood instead. Phantazia is able to sense, manipulate, influence, and disrupt various fields along with various forms of energies and energy wavelengths to varying degrees.
PB: Danielle Panabaker, socked by Mackinzie This entry is about the Phase 2 incarnation of the character. For other uses, see Phantazia (disambiguation). |
Lorelei | Lorelei was originally Thornn’s best friend; a Morlock who used her abilities under the cover of busking to earn money for food and supplies for the group. She reluctantly allowed Thornn to convince her that the Brotherhood offered her a way to help more mutants, even if she isn’t as comfortable with violence as the rest. Lorelei possesses hypnotic powers as well as being able to mesmerize any or all males within hearing range by singing.
PB: Elena Satine, socked by Seraph |
Zero | Very little is known about the individual called Zero. A teleporter, they are a critical part of the team, enabling them to escape quickly and without trace. They do not speak and as they wear a full white bodysuit that covers their face, no-one knows what they look like. |
Fabian Cortez | Yet to appear on-screen, Cortez is responsible for Magneto's rejuvenation.
This entry is about the Phase 2 incarnation of the character. For other uses, see Fabian Cortez (disambiguation). |
Former Members
Avalanche | Avalanche was recruited by Mystique after she broke him out of a Greek jail following the use of his powers in public. He utterly dedicated to the Brotherhood but is desperate to prove himself as one of the premiere members. Avalanche has the power of seismokinesis: the ability to generate powerful waves of vibrations from his hands, creating highly destructive effects through the air, water, and ground. He was abandoned to be arrested by Magneto when he apparently killed the X-Man Dust against express orders. He is currently in SHIELD custody.
PB: Apostolis Totsikas, socked by Cai This entry is about the Phase 2 incarnation of the character. For other uses, see Avalanche (disambiguation). |

The Brotherhood of Mutants are a group gathered by Magneto in order to effect his goal of mutant domination following his schism with Charles Xavier. Scattered during Magneto's imprisonment at the end of X1, they were re-gathered by himself and Mystique after X2, his determination to prevent a mutant apocalypse reinforced by Stryker's plans. Their beliefs have frequently led them into conflict with the X-Men, with Xavier's students holding the upper edge. So far. More recently (2018), they were involved in a number of attacks on blood banks and research hospitals following a ban on mutant donations. Strangely, Magneto was not seen during these attacks, which appeared to be led instead by Mystique.
Then in 2021 the Brotherhood struck again, this time attacking a DARPA research facility. The X-Men were requested to assist by SHIELD as the Avengers were unable to attend. Not only were there several new members of the team, but Magneto himself appeared to have de-aged by several decades, appearing to be a man in his fifties, rather than his actual nineties. The engagement went badly for the X-Men, and Magneto revealed to former member Bevatron just what they had been protecting - a new Sentinels project. The Brotherhood targeted another research facility a month later, but this time it was X-Force involved, extracting a double agent - Clinton Barton - and fleeing the scene without actually engaging the far superior force. Things came to a head in 2022, when Magneto led an attack on Bolivar Trask's unveiling of the prototypes to his A.I.M. sponsors, revealing the true identity of Maggia leader Frank DeCosta as Olivier, a Hell Lord who was lending his demonic magic to the Sentinel weaponry. As a result of Clint Barton's previous tampering, the Sentinels targeted DeCosta instead of the mutants, and Magneto further injured the Hell Lord with a barrage of silver and cold iron, drawn from the environment. This weakened Olivier enough to send him retreating to his own dimension. The X-Men arrived at the facility and jointly dealt with the Brotherhood and the Sentinels before destroying the "Master Mold", the manufacturing unit.
