An outline of what's handy to know and where to find it, whether you're thinking of applying, a new player, or one of the old school who can't remember where stuff is.

Applying

So, you've heard about X-Project and you're interested in applying. Read the Wiki, you've been told. Great, but where to start?

• Read the Rules.

• Read the FAQ, especially FAQ 1 and FAQ 3 to FAQ 6. It seems like a lot, but the pages are broken up to avoid Walls of Text.

• Read about the relaunch, Phase 1 and Phase 2, and M-Day.

• Check out which characters are available, either as "old" Phase 1 versions or new Phase 2 versions.

• Use the timeline to work out what's gone on before.

• Use the application checklist to make sure you've covered everything you need to.

• Ask questions if you're confused by emailing the mods or catching us one on one via our contact pages.

Introductions

Once you're approved and all signed up, it can be a bit overwhelming. Here's where you can find lots of helpful information!

• The current players. Also available as a handy spreadsheet for PLAYERS ONLY.

• A very handy chart outlining who players which character

• PBs, also available in a handy spreadsheet format for PLAYERS ONLY.

• Birthdays/Anniversaries for characters. Also available in a handy spreadsheet format for PLAYERS ONLY.

• The glossary, which is helpful in explaining various in-jokes you'll encounter on the mailing list.

• Add the reading comm link to your bookmarks, so you can always find it!

• Player Timezones will show you who is awake at any time!

Playing

A list of all of the places you can find information on specific parts of the game:

• Active character pages.

• Game history from the start of Phase 2, including the events that have transferred over.

• NPCs that have either transferred over or have been introduced in Phase 2

• Villans that have either transferred over or have been introduced in Phase 2

• Sockers - modsocks, sockerlists, and everything you need for your NPC/Villain needs.

• Plots and Category: Plot Arcs for what's gone on plot-wise, including plots that have transferred over.
