Although we have had numerous new characters, both PCs and NPCs, appear in X-Project over the years, there have also been characters who have passed on. Become no more. Have ceased to be. Expired and gone to meet their maker. These are late characters, stiffs, bereft of life, they rest in peace. Rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible, they are truly ex-characters.

February 2015 - Crew of a Russian tanker, killed by The Disciples.
July 2015 - Phillipe Leblanc, killed by Maurice Cloutier.
August 2015 - Stephen Westcott, killed by The Scourge.
September 2015 - Friedrich Von Roehm - Black Rook, killed while in police cells.
November 2015 - Seven young women, victims of Donal McGrath.
- Mole, Piper and Chickenwing, 3 Morlocks killed by Sabretooth.
- Brian Razanamasy, Wolter Brandt, Wilson Grey, Mariam Cross and Herbert Mudd - killed by X-Force during Operation: Mutant of the Seas; unnamed mutate also mercy-killed.
- Secret Warriors - SHIELD special response team, killed by Franklin Hall.
