About

Karen "Frito" Lawrence is currently an active player of X-Project. She began playing Marie-Ange Colbert in May of 2003, and Kyle Gibney in October of 2004. She currently acts as one of the admins for the Xproject wiki, and has been a mod of the game twice previously, retiring from her most recent tenure as a mod in April 2017. She also hosts and maintains the webpage and is generally responsible for dealing with the technical end of any of the webpage-y things for the game.

A former resident of Baltimore and the Washington DC Area, she now lives in Escondido, CA (a bit north of San Diego) - she hates snow and shoes, and loves seafood, tea and math. She lives with Twiller and their son "Typechip", born in February 2014, and has a truly astounding number of stuffed animals for someone who is in her forties.

She also claims to be 1/4 allosaurus.

October 20 PHASE 2 2015: Miles texts Warren about needing a favor in the form of Star Wars tickets. Gabriel texts Miles asking if that sound was him. Wade posts about returning from the woods and in need of tacos and if he should be concerned about the noise coming from the second floor. Miles texts Ganke Lee saying mission accomplished and that they have opening night tickets for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. 2016: 2017: Alex makes an Instagram cross post of a very tired Mrs. Summers. Clarice makes an impassioned journal entry imploring bearded men to improve the grooming standards of said beards. Jubilee texts Amanda about a potential broken liver. 2018: Felicia posts from her soon to be private island on her birthday. Topaz texts Hope, Tandy, and Ty begging for help with organizing Diwali. 2019: While picking up medical supplies, Molly and Sharon F.stop a crime in progress. Logan visits Sarah and is less than welcome as he explains that he left because he was dangerous to people. Sarah points out that she was dangerous but she never left and tells him to leave. Logan complies but makes it clear that he'll be there if she needs backup. 2010: Vanessa approaches Laura about doing some tracking work to try and find Nick. Laurie and Kyle torture new trainee Jean-Phillipe with an early-morning run. 2011: Layla enlists the help of Sarah and Doug to first steal Kyle's phone and then booby trap it with trick mp3s. Garrison and Adrienne go to a charity ball. 2013: Adrienne meets Amanda for drinks Saturday night and the next morning a horrific discovery is made: the temporary Jays tattoo is actually real. 2014: Rogue texts Jessica to see if she could help her find Rogue’s parents. Tandy texts Sue stating she is famous and that the tabloids are eating it all up. Gabriel goes to Adrienne to alter a stolen suit. Clint texts Namor asking about “Sulian”. Cecilia remembers when the intrigue surrounded Dazzler and what happens up at the school and states she misses those days. Matt texts Clint asking when did him and Gabriel get together. Clint texts Gabriel stating he doesn’t like living here. Clint texts Kyle asking him never to tell him that he smells people on him unless he is going to die. Julian texts Tandy asking how Sue is handling the new press.

Moment of Awesome - Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman: Sue and Hope infiltrate a Parisian Hellfire party under siege. "Oh please, like they could afford me." Sue's eyes constantly darted around, checking their path for any obstacles that might trip them up or alert the guards as to their presence. "It's always good to scout," she muttered quietly crouching down a little to avoid the view through a window. "Bubbling is how I used to get around here as a kid, but well it's a lot more stressful to keep it up so we wouldn't be as fast. This way, I don't have to focus quite so much so we can go a little faster." "It is one thing or the other... We are nearly there and time might be getting urgent. Let's give it one final push so we can complete our task." Hope moved a little closer to Sue, resting a hand on her girlfriend's shoulder to make it easier to create a bubble. A deep breath before she flicked a finger, the world seemed to shift and flutter around them, as if they were looking out at the world through a soap bubble as Sue reached back to grab Hope's hand, guiding her forward through the office and the far door. Maintaining a close bubble for a short time wasn't hard, but if they didn't get to the computer quickly, she wouldn't be in a state to do much to help break into them. As they approached the door, Hope slid her free hand in a concealed pocket of her dress. Hand to hand combat was absolutely not her strong suit, but she had other ways to deal with guards. A quick conversation with Marie-Ange had provided her with an epi-pen, only with a strong sedative. Quickly gripping it and orienting it properly, she lashed out as soon as the first guard was within reach. Sue could feel Hope shifting, lashing out at the closest guard as the blonde slide across the floor on bare feet, appearing like a ghost behind the guard as a forcefield wrapped around his head a strike driving into his neck as the man's eyes rolled up in his head and he slid down to the ground leaving the room clear. "Watch the door for a moment, I got this." Sue's head nodded at the door to the room as she slid into a chair, fingers flashing across the keyboard. "Very well." Hope nodded as she bent and grabbed the shoulder pieces of the sedated guard, dragging him just a few feet away from the door opening. Shifting around for a moment, she chose a position from which she could survey as much of the hallway as possible, while not being seen herself, a second pen firmly in hand. "So, is it a challenge or just a walk around the park?" "Oh please, you wound me," there was a laugh in Sue's voice as her fingers danced across the keyboard, code dancing across the screen casting a flickering light on her face. "Hacking into SHIELD or the NSA, that's a challenge, this is a piece of cake...Well almost. I've managed the system, but it looks like someone out there is a little suspicious. They've installed a physical switch which needs to be triggered to end the lockdown. It's almost like they thought that some entrepreneuring hacker like me might sneak in." "These people are no amateurs... and it makes more sense then just installing another layer that can be hacked. But the others are aware..." Hope glanced out of the hallway. "Alright, almost time to get out of here. Those drugs are not keeping them down forever." She quickly looked over, seeing various screen flicker past almost too fast to read, the glow almost sickly on her face. Three minutes later her girlfriend looked, nodding firmly. Hope glanced once more outside the room, before returning the nod. "Let's go then."
