A plot is a planned event, usually coordinated between a group of players, as opposed to the day to day events that occur and are reacted to. Some plots are large, game-spanning affairs with a cast of thousands and explosions. Others are small character-development pieces involving only a few characters, but are pivotal in a character's development.
